Requirements
The requeriments to legally establish a NGO in Panama are:
- An official document stating its constitution, which should be ratified by the new organization’s President and Secretary.
- An official document stating its laws and statutes, also signed by the President and Secretary.
- A list of board members. They should be no less than five people, and the list must include their ID numbers and signatures. Board members should be Panamanian, with the exception of embassy workers and diplomatic personnel.
- A list of the organization’s statutes, duly signed by the President and Secretary.
- A list of founding members, which can be no less than 25 people, with their names, ID’s and respective signatures.
- A five-year work plan.
